Father-Son Bonding

Mini-golf with the moms was really just a practice round for the real deal on the final day of the vacation. The dads stole all the glory by treating the boys to a round of "real" golf on one of our local courses. I'm not sure whether Jax & Jack were more excited to golf or hang out with their dads. For the sake of the dads' egos, we'll go with the latter. Poor Baylor was left behind with the girls! In a few more years, buddy, I'll gladly trade you to the other team. I can say with certainty that for Jax the highlight of the day was...driving the golf cart without assistance from dad! Ummm...he did what???? So that's the sort of thing that happens when the moms aren't around to be the voice of reason!Seems to me the only thing Anh will be driving in the foreseeable future is his new driver. Jax certainly won't let him back behind the wheel!
Normally, we would have felt some definite sadness when saying farewell to our close friends. Now that we live so far apart, it's hard to know when we'll next see each other. Although, there always seem to be some plan in the works. However, this time, we parted ways with the next trip already booked & paid for! We hugged or good friends goodbye knowing the next adventure is just around the corner. That's definitely the way to do it. It's almost like the fun never ends!
