An Honest Mistake

Curiosity definitely got the best of me when Mrs. P accidentally sent home the wrong daily folder in Jaxon's backpack. Once I recovered from my initial shock after seeing green, yellow, and red circles on every single day of the behavior chart, I flipped to the front cover and checked the name label to verify that indeed it was another child's folder. I feared that I had been duped into thinking that Jax had been demonstrating excellent behavior when really Mrs. P had simply failed to update Jaxon's record. Thankfully, the problem is not mine. I do feel sorry for that other mother though!

When looking over Mrs. P's comments about the infractions, I read things like:
  • "Screamed directly into another child's ear."

  • "Punched another child in the hall."

  • "Pulled another child's hair."

  • "Disrespectful language."

So, I really wasn't too surprised when one of the other Fantastic Four moms texted me with a story of insanity in the classroom today. Apparently, The Fantasic Four were the only ones to get "free play" time today. The rest of the kids were so bad they had to sit at their desks with their arms folded and their heads down. It was their punishment for not behaving. Man oh man! The class is gonna HATE our 4 kids by the end of the year!
