Check-Up

Today, Grant met our Pediatrician, Dr. M for his first check-up. Just as we suspected, Dr. M confirmed that Grant is 100% perfect! Ha! As for Grant's stats, he weighed 8 lbs, 1 oz when he was born, but had dropped to 7 lbs, 7 oz by the time we were discharged on Saturday. It's typical for newborns to drop weight in the beginning though. Dr. M's nurse confirmed that Grant is once again gaining and is back up to 7 lbs, 9 oz. See! I told you. He's perfect!

There was a little bit of pain involved during our visit. Grant received his first vaccine which almost as painful for us to watch as it was for him to receive. Just like his brothers, our little guy showed he's tough. He cried for all of .0025 seconds and then was over the trauma. Again, perfection!
